Privacy Policy

Effective September 8, 2026

Life Worth Living Recovery (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website, communicate with us, enroll in services, or make payments.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • contact and identity information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, and billing address;
  • service information, such as scheduling details, selected services, communications, and preferences;
  • billing information supplied by Stripe, such as payment status, transaction amount, invoices, card brand, and the last four digits of a payment card;
  • communications, including questions, support requests, and cancellation requests; and
  • website and device information, such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and website usage information, when collected by our website or service providers.

Please do not include sensitive medical, treatment, or recovery details in general website, billing, or cancellation communications unless we specifically direct you to an appropriate channel.

2. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide, schedule, administer, and improve services;
  • communicate with clients, payers, and authorized contacts;
  • process payments, recurring charges, invoices, refunds, and cancellations;
  • maintain business, billing, consent, and cancellation records;
  • protect the security of our services and prevent fraud;
  • comply with legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations; and
  • enforce agreements and protect our rights and the safety of others.

3. Family Support and authorized contacts

A Recovery Coaching client may choose one or more people to serve as Family Support contacts; a contact does not have to be a family member. With the client’s permission, we may share progress updates with those contacts and help them understand how they can best support the client. Family Support is optional and recommended, not a requirement of Recovery Coaching.

4. Stripe and payment information

We use Stripe for payment processing, recurring billing, invoicing, fraud prevention, and related services. Stripe may collect payment, billing, contact, transaction, and device information under its own privacy practices. We generally do not receive or store complete payment-card numbers. Learn more in the Stripe Privacy Policy.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information:

  • to service providers supporting payment processing, website hosting, communications, scheduling, security, accounting, or professional services;
  • to a client’s chosen Family Support contacts when the client authorizes the disclosure;
  • when you direct us or consent to the disclosure;
  • to comply with law, legal process, or a lawful government request;
  • to investigate fraud, security concerns, or threats to safety; or
  • in connection with a business reorganization or transfer, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information for money. If applicable law treats another practice as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising, we will provide the notices and choices that law requires.

6. Cookies and website services

Our website and service providers may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functions, security, preferences, and analytics. Browser settings may allow you to limit cookies, although doing so can affect website functions.

7. Data retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and billing records, satisfy legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information, but no system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access or correct certain contact and billing information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or appeal, subject to applicable exceptions. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity.

9. Children’s privacy

Our website and payment services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without legally valid authorization.

10. External links and other agreements

Third-party websites and services have their own privacy practices. This Policy does not replace any separate privacy notice or service agreement that may apply to information collected through another channel.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy by posting a revised version with a new effective date and providing any additional notice required by law.
